Snowy Trees and The Sun

I have always loved to get out and ski during the winter, but cross country skiing was not what I was expecting. It was a good thing that I got some good shots, because the skiing part wasn’t my favorite. It turns out that cross country skiing is a lot more like walking than skiing.

The path was really pretty though. It followed the edge of a canyon up by Mesa Falls. The snow on the trees and the clear sunny skies made for some great views. This shot was an HDR composite of three exposures, that were processed in Google’s Nik Software Suite. I was then able to finish polishing the photo by cleaning up some dust spots and noise in Photoshop.
